Refunds are available up to 14 days before the scheduled workshop. After that time, refunds are not offered.
If you cannot attend due to illness, a family emergency, or unsafe weather conditions, you may transfer your registration to a future workshop.

If I need to cancel or postpone a workshop, you may transfer to a new date or receive a full refund.
Emergency Ready is not responsible for travel or accommodation costs.
Workshops are held in most weather conditions. If weather creates an unsafe environment, all participants will be notified and the workshop will be rescheduled or refunded.
Participants must follow all safety instructions while on the property.
Closed-toe footwear is required.
Please do not bring your horse; all workshops use my horses for hands-on learning.
Light refreshments are provided. A porta-potty and hand-wash station are available on-site.

No. Emergency Ready workshops teach owner-level emergency skills and are not a substitute for professional veterinary care. You’ll learn exactly what you can do while waiting for your vet.
Basic handling experience is helpful but not required. Workshops are designed for all levels and include guided, hands-on practice.
Yes. All workshops include hands-on learning with my horses.
Please do not bring your own horse.
Closed-toe footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, and a notebook if you like. All other materials and supplies are provided.
Light refreshments are provided, but lunch is not. Workshops run approximately six hours, so please bring your own lunch and any drinks you’ll want throughout the day.

Workshops are best suited for ages 12+. Minors under 13 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
No. Emergency Ready offers practical, owner-level emergency skills training. Participants receive a certificate of completion, but this is not a professional accreditation.
Definitely not. Emergency Ready teaches you what to do until your veterinarian is available. Your vet is always your primary resource in an emergency.
